Consequences

This is part of a project I'm doing for school. I have to find the universal idea in a piece and make an illustration of that idea. This one was "the dangerous consequences of deceit." I'm a little iffy about it, since it resembles a moral (which is the most dangerous thing to make into a universal idea, as the two are NOT the same), but I still need to do four more of these before I'm finished, and they take longer than I expected. Perhaps If I were to work smaller...

The anatomy got a little off in certain spots, but overall I'm pleased with how this turned out. I've never drawn in this style before. The clothes are based on some steampunk costumes and drawings I've seen recently. On an unrelated note: this is not a vector piece, even though it looks similar to one.
